“Be still, know that I am God”

these are verses I cling to every day.

                                                                

   Before January, 2006 I took only snapshots like

everyone takes and not a very good job at that.  In

January my sister moved in with us and was very ill.

 My husband’s health was poor and life was just

overwhelming.  That’s when I began being so in awe of our beautiful high desert sunrises on my way to work.  One day I just happened to have my camera in my purse – that was the beginning of my “obsession” as my daughter calls it.  I believe God has given me the desire to photograph His beauty and focus on Him rather than focus on circumstances that surround me.  What makes my pictures special are the verses on them.  The time I spend reading through the scripture for the right one for each picture is priceless for me.  My prayer is that these pictures touch you as they have touched me.                                                                                Carol Grimm
